Where to find it
Inside a trail, every reading module has a Tutor tab in the side panel. Inside a quiz attempt, the tutor is one tap away on each question. The chat history stays scoped to the trail / quiz it’s attached to — ask follow-ups freely.
What it will and won’t do
Will: explain a concept differently, give an analogy, rephrase a definition, walk through a worked example, flag what you might be missing, suggest what to re-read.
Won’t: hand you the answer to a quiz question outright, generate a brand-new trail, take graded work for you, or browse the internet for fresh facts.
Daily limits
Each user message counts as one "turn" (the tutor’s reply does not). The daily cap is shared across all trails and quizzes — not per-trail. Free gets 10 turns/day; Pro gets 30. Caps reset midnight UTC.
Each individual chat is also capped at 10 turns per session — when you hit that, the input area suggests opening a fresh chat (no upgrade required). When you hit the daily cap, Free sees an upgrade prompt and Pro sees a "try again tomorrow" message. Each turn is also limited to about 8,000 characters of input.
Tips for better tutor answers
Reference what you’re looking at — "the second example in this paragraph", "option C in this quiz question" — the tutor sees the same surface as you and uses positional cues well.
Ask one thing at a time. The tutor handles multi-part questions but the answers are cleaner when each turn has a single ask.
If you want a different angle, say so: "explain this like I’m new to the topic" or "give me a code example instead of prose".
Privacy
Tutor turns are processed by the same Azure-hosted model as the rest of Yoonle (EU region). Your prompts are NOT used to train any model. Conversation history is tied to your account so you can scroll back, and is deleted when you delete your account.
